Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead and manage end-to-end SDLC projects, ensuring all phases—from planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance—are executed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather project requirements, define project scope, and document functional and technical specifications.
  • Agile Methodology: Drive agile processes and ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) while ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary, to ensure minimal disruption and maximum project success.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and deliverables are clearly communicated.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet quality standards by collaborating with QA teams to define testing strategies, oversee test planning, and manage defect resolution.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budget, resource allocation, and timeline, ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to the project plan.

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Threat Monitoring & Detection: Monitor network traffic, systems, and applications for signs of potential security threats using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other cybersecurity platforms.
  • Incident Response & Investigation: Investigate security incidents, identify the source and impact, and work with relevant teams to mitigate and remediate the threat. Lead incident response efforts, including coordinating containment and recovery actions.
  • Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the organization’s network and systems. Prioritize and track vulnerabilities through remediation efforts.
  • Security Audits & Compliance: Conduct internal and external security audits, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, PCI-DSS). Provide recommendations for enhancing compliance and security posture.
  • Risk Assessment & Management: : Assist in performing risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies to ensure that IT assets are protected. Work with teams to identify and address cybersecurity risks within the organization’s environment.
  • Security Tool Configuration & Optimization: Configure and manage cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, endpoint protection, anti-virus, encryption solutions), ensuring they are optimized for maximum protection and performance.
  • Security Awareness Training: Provide guidance and training to employees on security best practices and emerging threats to raise awareness and minimize the risk of human error leading to security breaches.
  • Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with IT, network, and other business teams to implement security controls and address security-related concerns. Prepare detailed reports for senior management on incidents, vulnerabilities, and overall security posture.
